10-10!!! Went for dinner last night which was absolutely outstanding, food was packed with flavour and service was fantastic. It was so good we came back for breakfast this morning, what an amazing menu. Would highly recommend the French toast, and the whole place in general! Served by Tina who was brilliant, helpful and friendly. Queue out the door the whole time we were here, you can see why!

Absolutely fab restaurant. It was recommended to us, We where group of 6 women, we visited for breakfast and it was soo good we went back again. Service amazing, the staff so friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much for them. Even when it came to the bill if we had of wanted to split it 6 ways it wasn't a problem. The location was lovely we sat in the the inner courtyard twice so lovely. A well thought out restaurant run with a high level of service, we would love to have gone back for dinner but we unfortunately ran out of time on our amazing visit to Split, Next time for sure ...

Food is excellent but service could be better, the staff are incredibly polite and although the long ques are to be expected, some more transparency about wait times would make this process significantly less frustrating. Some more condiments than just salt and pepper would be a big improvement. The iced latte comes unsweetened which isn’t explained on the menu or explained by a waitress.

Best brunch I've ever had! Price is on the higher side, but seeing the amount and the kind of food you get it's worth every penny. Service was friendly and very quick, especially as the place was completely full when we were there. Will absolutely go again next time I'm in Split!

The best brunch in town! This restaurant could fit easily into any of the brunch capitals of the world. Waffles are great but the stand out was the French toast - great selection of fresh berries a go with. Caramelised bananas on the waffles were a real treat as well. The coffee is pretty solid, nothing too amazing but up to a good enough standard to match the brunch. Sometimes there’s a bit of a queue but it’s well worth the wait. The outdoor setting is really pleasant as well.

We went here for our anniversary dinner, it was a really sweet spot in a courtyard nicely lit up in the evening... It is on the pricey side but things are really fresh and nicely cooked so you can see why. We had a range of the tapas style dishes, definitely get the pork! And the curry and date dip 😁 everything was lovely but we did regret buying the clams, there isn't much to clams and we paid 22euro 😭The waiter was so sweet! He made our evening for sure, I don't know his name but he was tall and slim with dark hair. Amazing. Service :) lovely meal for a special occasion

This was our first stop on our Split trip. We made a pretty good choice with this place to our start of the day. There was a bit of a wait at around 9:30 but this was to be expected. The gentleman at the door taking down names was very nice and friendly.When we were seated, we got to sit next to a white cat. We love cats so we were very excited. She slept the entire time but we got to sneak in a few pets during her nap which she didn't seem to mind 😊.We ordered the avocado farmers bread and the men's health breakfast. The men's health was a generously sized portion of assorted meats and fruits, which were all very fresh and tasty. It was served with scrambled eggs on the side, which were light and fluffy.The avocado toast was served on fresh crispy toast with a very generous portion of avocado. The boiled egg on top was delicious, I didn't know boiled eggs could be so good!!The atmosphere of the restaurant was very nice, we sat outside under large trees which shaded us from the heat and sun. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a cute and tasty breakfast spot.

Loved everything, from the peaceful setting on the courtyard to the amazingly friendly waitresses and the delicious food. We had such a great breakfast experience that we came back the next day to try more amazing stuff from the menu. The portions are royal (especially the breakfast combo's), the plating is great and the food itself superb. Definitely recommended for breakfast, next time we are in Split we're coming back for dinner as well.

Great service and very good food. Pretty terrace in the back yard.However they want to make it look a bit too posh and I find it really expensive (20 euros for one person to have breakfast excl. drinks, not even in London or Amsterdam). If you think about Croatia just a couple of years ago, the prices are now doubled.

Small and pittoresque. Lovely staff, service and amazing food!! They managed to get us in even though they were very busy, had lovely drinks while waiting on the stairs. Def recommend!

This was hands down the best breakfast and dinner in Croatia. I wish I could take the food home with me to California. Adriano and all the waiters are so delightful. Overall amazing experience. Highly recommend. Fresh foods, juices, yummy cocktails and beautiful ambiance!!

We came here twice for breakfast, absolutely delicious, we shared the breakfast women’s health. If you are not a big eater, it would be perfect for 2 persons. Coffee and fresh juice are good. The staff is friendly, highly recommended

We had dinner last evening and were excited to try after reading about the chef, the food and the positive reviews. As always, here is my honest opinion of the meal. We were seated at 830 and ordered drinks. 5 minutes later we had our beverages and ordered dinner. The waiter pushed us to start with a flat bread pizza and advised the portions were small. We had read about the tapas style and were good with that. No problem there. We did however have no interest in a flat bread to start. About 3 minutes later, the hummus arrived with warm bread. It was barely enough for one (the hummus) and had absolutely no flavour at all. None. 3 min later the mains arrived with the salads. We had barely sat down and the entire meal was in front of us. The small table covered in food. Not impressed at all. We had literally been in the restaurant for 10 min and had all of this food shoved in front of us. The Greek salad was fresh and delicious. The green salad was just that, lettuce in a bowl with a nice tasty light dressing. The open face lasagna was beautifully presented, but sadly, was utterly tasteless. Zero flavour. I added salt and pepper and nothing. So disappointed. The sea bass was excellent.Overall, not a great experience. The cab sav was not to my taste and the service, well, it left a lot to be desired, and the waiter could have cared less. The chef walked in around 910 so he clearly wasn’t there to prepare the food. We left at 915. Wouldn’t return and would not recommend. I wanted to. Trust me, I wanted to love this place and the food, but it fell short on a number of levels.

Can NOT believe I’ve lived here for a year and a half and kept this on my want to visit list!The location is charming, private, well decorated outside in the courtyard.Servers were effective + very nice but busy 😅 as it was full!Food was oh so yummy. I wanted more but portions are serious. So poached eggs and waffles were enough for my 2m frame and appetite.A must go (repeatedly)!

Outstanding food! Everything was homemade and the croissants, made from an 'original' French chef, are remarkable!!The service was very attentive and very friendly, had always asked us if we needed anything else, and even offered to take a picture of us as she saw we were struggling with a selfie 😂. Can only recommend if you want to try Croatian homemade cuisine, outstanding croissants, and enjoy an idyllic atmosphere!The prices were appropriate.

Absolutely glorious food, friendly staff/ attentive service, lovely atmosphere. We had the tuna and scallops for starter and then sea bass risoto and the pork for main. If you can book ahead of time. Must try if in Split!

I couldn't say enough great things about this place. We went here back to back mornings, for breakfast, because it was so good. Fair pricing for the quality and quantity of food provided. The staff were super friendly and the ambiance was quaint and fit well within old town. I highly recommend coming extra hungry and splitting the breakfast for two. It's absolutely worth it!

The breakfast was very good and the service was super friendly. I liked the fact that they react flexible on specific wishes (add/remove components of the breakfast) and that they have lots of vegetarian options.The atmosphere is quite nice. The only contra is that you might have to wait a bit longer to get a table. We were there at about 9 am in the morning and only had to wait 5 minutes. The next day (~ 11am) the waiting line was so long that we decided not to wait.

I'm so glad we walked by this place.You noticed the second you walked by that this is a great establishment.The cozy courtyard in the front caught our eyes.So we decided to book a table, and we are so glad we did.The food was excellent and the helpful staff gave great advice regarding what to eat and were very friendly.The prices are cheap relative to what you get. The food was amazing!Reservation seams to be required during high season, during our visit we saw that they had to decline several groups of people.A must visit if you are in Split.

Really fast with getting food out, really nice staff, enjoyable atmosphere. Some of the fruit was a bit moldy and old, but the rest was really tasty!!Only thing that kind of annoyed me and the party I was with was the 30 minute wait outside, because they had a lot of two person tables they didn't want to move together.Also there were a lot of tables available in the courtyard on the other side of the restaurant, so it was weird that so many people had to wait outside the restaurant for 30-40 minutes.

We chose breakfast here twice (we were in Split only 3 nights) but we were so wowed at the breakfast, service and atmosphere the first time we had to come back for a second time. The food is amazing and they were able to do me an amazing vegan breakfast, with fruit, yoghurt, bread, dips…everything so fresh! The people there are so welcoming, so friendly and always on hand if you needed anything. If I visit Split again (which I loved) I would certainly come back here and try the lunch/ dinner at this restaurant!! 5⭐️ absolutely!!! ❤️❤️

A lovely place with excellent food, impeccable service and the most friendly, the most polite staff we have ever met! Sincerely recommended! Regional cuisine, fresh ingredients, charming patio. The best breakfast/lunch we ever had in a restaurant, on top of that very friendy staff and service. We enjoyed it so much we came back the next day. You might have to wait outside a little because the place is often full, for very good reason.

I go out to restaurants a lot around the world but this one is hands down one of the best one with delicious flavors and atmosphere combined.Cute outdoor/courtyard area, excellent service very friendly staff. You can see the kitchen through the widows on the evening and notice how meticulous the chef is about his dishes.Lamb chops, scallops, goat cheese flat bread, grilled veggies and homemade gin were outstanding 👌

We went here for breakfast and shared the breakfast for 2. It was great! Lots of different meat options (smoked hams etc.), salmon, lots of fruit and delicious yogurt. They have a nice little terrace in the shade and a courtyard in the sun.The staff was nice and prices are reasonable.

This place seems to always have a queue, but it is 100% worth the wait (we were waiting about 20minutes).We were told about this place by multiple uber drivers and I'm glad we took the time to have brunch here. All the food coming out looked so delicious and we both absolutely loved our choices. They have a great range of veggie options and it really is a nice vibe with friendly staff. I'd definitely come back the next time I'm in split.

Gorgeous place for brunch! We loved it so much we came two days running. The omelettes are delicious and the pancakes were perfect. Freshly squeezed orange juice is a must. Great ambiance service and food. Only issue is you have to queue because everyone knows it’s good 😊

The perfect start to the perfect day. They were so welcoming and accommodating and had absolutely everything anyone could ask for, for breakfast. My partner is gluten intolerant and doesn’t take caffeine in her coffee and this is the first place we have found to accommodate both. Not only that, but the gluten free bread was better than a lot of bread I have eaten in my life. The food was amazing, the selection was amazing and all worth every penny.

This place has stolen my foodheart. The food here is of exquisite quality. I had the eggs benedict here twice so far and am sure I will never enjoy them at any other place. The food is simply so well balanced in flavours that it is a true enjoyment with every bite. In addition to the great food, the place itself looks very cute. The whole vibe is sweet and the staff incredibly friendly and helpfull. The cherry on top is the great story behind the restaurant. I can only highly recommend this place.

Wow! The food here is SO worth the wait! The menu is so hard to choose from because everything sounds and looks delicious! I had the women’s health which seems to be the popular choice and I thoroughly enjoyed it! Although I was slightly jealous of my friends chocolate French toast which tasted incredible. It depends if you want sweet and indulgent, or less calorific and more of a nutritious meal. They cater for both! Lemon press is super fresh too!! The only thing we felt was ever so slightly slow was the initial service/taking our order. But the courtyard atmosphere is beautiful so we didn’t mind taking that all in whilst waiting. Also good for gluten free too! Add this place to your breakfast spots list if you’re visiting Split!

Stopped for breakfast and the food was great, the coffee was excellent and the service was brilliant. What more can I say?After doing breakfast here two days in a row......Bread with cheese / apple chutney is superb. Eggs bendict with Salmon is delicious. Salmon Bagel is also absolutely delicious. Waffles are good. A bit too sweet for my taste but the kids loved them.If you are nearby, go and eat here

What a charmingly gorgeous little restaurant we stumbled upon on our last night. If only we had found it sooner I would have eaten here again. It is set in two courtyards with twinkling lights, great soundtrack and the most attentive waitress who was both charming and attentive. The food was delicious, innovative, tasty and just right. Great for vegetarians and non vegetarians alike. Be sure to book early in your visit so you can come back to eat here again.

Family-friendly! This is the first restaurant/cafe/any establishment that I have encountered that has a lovely clean padded change table. I was amazed and pleasantly very surprised.Have always wanted to visit Ćiri Biri Bela for ages and today we finally made it. It’s a lovely venue with two courtyards, great staff and great food. And the highlight for me was the change table!

Everything was very tasty. The Fresh lemonade was REALLY FRESH 👌. The Croatian sausage is a little bit spicy, which was perfect. Be aware that the "Croatian pancakes" is just one crêpe, and may not be enough food for breakfast, waffles seemed to be more filling.

Awesome experience! We went here for our last night in Split and it was the perfect way to depart the city. We were there in the rain and they made every effort to accommodate their patrons and make sure they didn’t get wet, even though the whole restaurant is outside with no covering except for umbrellas. You could tell they were a bit stressed but they did not let that ruin the evening! Service was great, food was delicious and this restaurant will be top of list, should we ever return to Split! Would recommend the truffle butter, the pear and halloumi salad and the ‘pizza’ with Gorgonzola!

Perfect place for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner!For breakfast / brunch, you have all the classics your heart could desire from a classic brunch, plus some traditional Dalmatian breakfast options, so you can still get a taste of the regional cuisine.I also came for dinner a couple of times, highly recommended as well.You can choose from a large variety of small dishes, perfect concept to share the food with your loved ones and to be able to try everything!They focus on organic and local ingredients and many items are in-house made, like the ham, jams etc.All in all, the food is delicious, made with good quality ingredients and care.The staff is super friendly and the overall atmosphere of the place is lovely. This was one of the best restaurants we visited during our stay in Split. I recommend trying the women's breakfast and men's breakfast. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was exceptional. However, I recommend making a reservation, as there's often a wait without one. Definitely worth it!

Had such a lovely breakfast/brunch at Ciri Biri Bella. The staff were so friendly and made recommendations on what to order as I was torn. I had the mushroom croque and it was delicious. They were really generous with the fillings and it was so tasty. The setting is so relaxing outside as well. The only recommendation I would make is stronger iced coffee - but that is just a personal preference!

We had the most amazing meal tonight. The service and the food was impeccable. We have been travelling for 2 months Morocco, Spain, France, Italy, Greece and now Croatia. Ciri Biri Bela has been our best so far. Quality, quantity, service was just amazing. Thank you to the team we just loved our evening with you.

we went there twice. once for brunch and once for dinner and both were amazing! the bagels we’re phenomenal i really recommend them! the staff was extremely friendly and the pricing was really fair.

Good food and great service. Food are well seasoned and fresh. They have delicious desserts. Chicken skewers were tender and the scallops are a must try! Mussels are great with the wine sauce. Make sure to do a reservation for dinner as they can get really busy. Cards payments are accepted here.

Delicious share-size Dalmatian dishes which is unique and different from the usual menus seen at restaurants in Old Town Split. It was so delicious we visited twice during our five day trip. Our personal favorites were the sparkling Croatian wine, cauliflower, halloumi, catch of the day (sea bass), and chicken kebab. The first portion of bread is free and delicious. The staff was friendly and adapting to the speed you want (usually fast, but can be slowed if requested). I cannot recommend this restaurant I enough. I wish we had this restaurant in Amsterdam!

Absolutely loved this breakfast place! It is highly rated for a reason. I had the eggs Benedict with crispy bacon and swapped out the muffin for a buttery croissant, a welcome addition that was delicious! Can get very busy so maybe try going early.

I am a major foodie, and brunch is my favourite meal. This place is the best brunch I have ever had through all of my travels! The ambiance, staff, and vibe of the restaurant were all truly amazing. Everyone was so helpful and SO friendly I didn’t want to leave! You must visit if you are in Split!

After a bit of waiting we got in and had brunch. The service and how we were treated was excellent. The menu was quite diverse and everyone could find something that they liked. We had some customization with how we wanted the food to be served and the waiters helped with that. Everything came in time and as said the service was fantastic.The food was absolutely brilliant! I had bagel 🥯 with egg 🥚 and bacon 🥓 and cheese 🧀 which was gorgeous. I also had banana chocolate waffles 🧇 which were great. The tea, cappuccino and other foods were also great and everyone were super happy about the place. This was a 5+ restaurant which I could go there for brunch practically every day.

It’s a shame that I can only give 5 stars. This place is absolutely brilliant and deserves 6 stars. We came here for dinner. The service is perfect: friendly, attentive without being rushed or pushy, happy to move us to a different seat, and so on. The food is delicious and inventive. Everything is very reasonably priced. Easily the best meal we had in our fortnight holiday. Stop reading reviews and come here!

Lovely chilled lunch spot away from the main front. Clearly popular as had a small queue when we arrived for lunch, but we were quickly seated. Nice selection of breakfast, brunch and lunch items. We opted for the local pastry tart with goats cheese, fig and walnuts which was yummy. Washed down with some homemade lemonade. Not the cheapest lunch but very tasty and nice to be set back from the main promenade.

I’ve travelled the world, and this is the best brunch I’ve ever had. The service was amazing, the food was amazing, the location and ambiance were amazing. Overall, I would come back to Split just to eat here. I believe it was the owner who asked my friend and I how the food and service was. He seems very passionate for his restaurant and wants everyone to have the best experience. I felt the love that went into the food preparation and the cinnamon maple syrup waffles were the best waffles I’ve ever had.

Can have 2 stars for the eggs Benedict, that was good, however avoid the ‘men’s health’ not what I thought it would be, measly selection of meats on a board that are tough fatty and chewy, spoke to the server about it however they did nothing and just asked if they could take the plate, shameful service.Good place for people wanting to take pictures of food, but if you want to enjoy the meal go elsewhere.

We went for dinner, duly made a reservation. Tasty food but miniature portions at inflated prices. Yes, we have been warned that the warm dishes are more like tapas, and you need to order more than one. But in tapas bars, you actually see the tapas, while in the menu here, there is no hint of the size, so we felt cheated. The Greek salad strangely contained courgettes instead of cucumbers. Aside from the quality, the size does matter.

At first sight, we thought it was for elderly people, but then the restaurant became younger. The garden is nice. The staff is multicultural. We had a very nice waitress from Bolivia who speaks perfect French. Bravo!The food was delicious. We ate the pizza, but the cherry on the cake was the aubergines and the artichokes. Delicious. We spent a great time there.

Went here for dinner on our last night in Split and boy did this not disappoint. My wife found this place highly recommended on various different review sites, make sure you book as this is highly sought after. We sat in the rear garden beautifully decorated.The food itself is served tapas style so we had lots of different plates for sharing, each one as delicious as the last. Service was attentive and on the right side of timing without being intrusive.I hugely recommend this place if you are in the area and looking for a fantastic dinner treat.

Super cute restaurant with great food and a cozy atmosphere! The outside seating area is nicely decorated and great for romantic evenings. The food was delicious and fresh. While eating, there is some nice old school rock music playing and you really get to relax. Matiya, our server, gave us some great recommendations and was super attentive and nice throughout our whole night. Can only recommend and would definitely come back :)
